Eric J. Kawata, O.D.
Dr. Eric Kawata is a native of Southern California. He attended UCLA before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in 1985. He started his first private practice in Anaheim in 1986 and soon thereafter opened a second location in Laguna Niguel in 1993.
Dr. Kawata is a past board member of the Orange County Optometric Society, the California Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. When he is not in the office, Dr. Kawata enjoys sportfishing and baseball with his wife and three children.

Jeffrey S. Duncan, O.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Duncan is a native of Orange County. He attended UCSD before completing his Doctor of Optometry studies at the Southern California College of Optometry in 1997. Dr. Duncan is a member of the Orange County Optometric Society, the California Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. He has a special interest in pediatrics, and along with Dr. Kawata, contact lenses. Dr. Duncan enjoys surfing and mountain biking in his spare time with his wife and two children.

Melissa A. Fowler, O.D.
Dr. Melissa Fowler is also a native of Southern California. She attended UCSB before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in 2007. She recently joined our team of doctors and provides full scope optometric care as well as a special interest in contact lenses. In her spare time, Dr. Fowler enjoys beach volleyball and hiking.
